If ever there was a product that screamed Spring ... this is it.
Natasha Denona is one of those brands I feel the more I try, the more I fall more and more in love with. Ever since purchasing the Glam Face Palette I have used it non stop and the blush and highlighter within that palette are absolute stars. The shades, the formulations, the finish ... well it just had me wanting more. This is why when I saw this Rose Duo mini blush launch, I had to snap it up.
If you have never tried her formulations then this is a good place to start. In fact, Natasha launches mini versions of her infamous eye palettes as well as cheek products which is just so ideal as the bigger sizes are a bit of an investment, plus it's a great way to establish a good collection of high-end makeup.

What makes it special?
The Cream Blush has this unique featherweight texture that almost feels like a wet powder and melts onto your skin effortlessly adding a gorgeous bright pigmented flush of pink with a silky, velvety finish. The shade reminds me a little of Nars Orgasm, but even better. It has a very faint gold fleck to it that just adds that extra something to the skin.
The stunning highlighter is created with chroma crystals and luxe crushed pearls for a glass-like strobe, while hyaluronic acid and botanical oils moisturize and nourish the skin with a soft-focus pigment that smoothes over lines and imperfections. For me, this is what makes them unique and you'll really understand when you actually apply them. Plus I think you can see this from the close-ups on my skin!
I love the combination of using a cream blush with a powder highlight because I think this method just makes your blusher blend seamlessly into the skin to make it look less powdery and more like you are just naturally flushing and bright. Plus you can dial up the intensity to as little or as much as you like - because it may look like a bright scary coral to some, but that depends on how much you apply and you can see how natural this looks above.

At first glance, I did think it was very similar to the Glam Face palette but once I compared them side-by-side I noticed they were in fact very different. As you can see from above the Rose Duo is a lot pinker and the highlight is definitely more golden. Both are very unique and beautiful! I love that they all actually work in unison so you could mix and match both the blushes and highlights together.

I definitely highly recommend the Glam face palette as like I said I have used this non-stop. I think it will be the perfect transition into spring make-up! You can see all swatches of it and read my full review here.
I think the Mini Blush Duo is such a good buy as it really is affordable for a luxury brand and one of those items you can just throw in your bag and take with you on the go as is the same with the mini eyeshadow palettes.
