When it comes to creating an Eyeshadow Palette, Natasha Denona is the queen. I think she covers all angles by making palettes for those that are not that experienced in makeup to makeup artists looking to create editorial looks. This is why I am a fan; plus she makes it all exciting. Her makeup is a luxury buy yet because she offers various choices of sizes when it comes to eye palettes, this reflects in the price, which makes her products affordable to all. I do love a brand that caters to everyone.

I currently own a few mini and few midi palettes, mainly her famous bestsellers, Glam and Bronze, and they are those palettes that you can make so many looks from. One of my most worn everyday, go-to eye palettes is the Charlotte Tilbury original Pillow Talk Quad so when I saw the Retro Palette, I just knew this was for me because it has those same tones. ... and with a lot bigger lineup!

Why I Love this Palette ...

Apart from the obvious reason being that it is gorgeously romantic and my taste, I knew from my other palettes, there was nothing I wasn't going to love.

The eyeshadows themselves are so pigmented and vibrant which give a stunning colour payoff that takes minimal effort. All formulas are buttery smooth which means they blend seamlessly. The mix of finishes is perfect; the mattes are rich, the glitters are grown up and the chromes are dazzling! They are all super long-lasting and take no qualifications to achieve a stunning look. I love even more that they work on every skin tone and skin type. The shades here are all super wearable and are a nice transition for anyone looking to break out of their 'usual neutral' zone (me included). Why not try something different that is a perfect bridge between neutral and colour? Ideal for Autumn if you want some warmer tones!

Another thing that I love about the midi sized palettes is that the mirror is edge to edge which is a perfect size for doing makeup on the go or just sat at a vanity where you can see your whole face. As well as this they have cleverly been designed with a rubber sole to the bottom of them which means they don't move around when you dip your brush in if you are working on a flat surface. It really is the little details that mean the most.

Natasha Denona Retro Eye Palette

I do think Natasha brings together the most beautiful colour combinations that just lure you in. I don't know about you, but as I have gotten older, my eye looks have become a tad more simple yet I always fall in love with a shade that is maybe a tad out of my usual zone. Hence I have actually found myself glued to Natasha's makeup tutorials as she really does explain about placement and how she likes to work with them. This helps a lot!

Just in case you haven't seen the other popular midi palettes such as the GLAM Palette and the Bronze Palette, then here they are back when they were new! I have to say, Glam is one of the most go-to choices in my collection. It is even more beautiful in the flesh (as are them all) and is just that all-round neutral day-to-day wear with an equal amount of cool and warm tones ... with a bit extra pizazz. In fact, I am not a fan of cool tones on me and this is the settlement. I could not recommend it more.

As you can see, they are all stunning and you cannot go far wrong in my opinion with any of them.
