Myself and masking go together like Strawberries and Cream, we were made for each other and I use them often daily in my skin routine. In my view, taking that time, however long or short, to apply a face mask, switch off and let it work its magic is self-care at its best.
When this rather new revolutionary mask landed at my door, it was on my face quicker than you could say pamper session. If hydrating, energising skincare is your thing, then this will definitely be one for you because this new age of science, means even better skin results.

Swissline Skincare |
Spoiler alert; I feel this product was made for me. If you asked me to design my ideal face mask; it would look like this. In fact, I am sure Custodio (Brand Director) got into my mind when he designed it lol! I am very thankful that I got to try this a few months ahead of its official launch so am very privileged to have really been able to have it in my skincare army.
I will very soon, update you on my current skincare routine with mixed-branded recommendations as well as my Swissline routine as they feature heavily in my skincare regime.

The Swissline Hydraholic Mask | 75ml, €145 (linked here)
Firstly, love the name (and the o2 symbol).
This is a new-generation, easy-to-use face mask with an instant cooling effect. It is not only a moisturizing mask but also an antidote against tired-looking, lifeless skin and any sensitive skin that needs some TLC. The unique formula contains both Water and Oxygen (hence the name) which really is a rarity in skincare. It doesn't contain 'oxygen' as such, but makes our skin cells better so they can absorb the oxygen around us. Clever right?

Key Ingredients: the science part
ATP - An essential intercellular energy transfer molecule - ATP (adenosine triphosphate) operates like a battery, storing or consuming energy as needed. Research has shown that ATP has a strong potential as a skin-restoring ingredient and as an energy booster.
Hyaluronic Acid - A naturally occurring polysaccharide, acts as a “molecular sponge” trapping and holding water. Vehiculisation technology that reduces and homogenizes the particles of hyaluronic acid up to 1µm to enhance penetration. When in contact with intercellular moisture these swell and fill the existing fine lines.
Saccharomyces Lysate And Ferments - Components from yeast cultures, activate and reactivate the tissular regeneration through a significant stimulation of cell respiration.
Ammonium Glycyrrhizate And Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract - Powerful anti-inflammatories to bring peace to tired skin, reduce signs of congestion and even out the complexion durably.
How to Use! It's Simple.
Apply a thick layer over cleansed skin, face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Let it rest for 15 minutes and remove it with running water and/or wet sponges or a cloth. Can be used as regularly as needed, even daily – until skin reaches the desired condition; then repeated twice a week as a maintenance.
The Cooling sensation may cause a tingle during the first application as the mask promotes all metabolic exchanges and stimulates skin in general, but I actually didn't, just fresh and cooling, so this will be a gem to use in the Summer months when it's warm.

SWISSLINE SKINCARE |
With a face mask, I want it simple to use and highly effective; this ticks those boxes. The texture is divine; a silky, thick gel formula that glides onto the skin and feels instantly refreshing with a fresh floral scent that feels super comforting. As it settles in, the mask works its magic, visibly plumping the skin and giving back vitality. The excess can feel a little tacky, but washes away easily and leaves no tacky residue at all which I love because some are often difficult to use with other products, but I have found this works well.
This is basically an ‘oxygen facial in a bottle’ and if you’ve ever had one of those treatments in a salon you will know exactly how your skin feels.
Hydration plays such an important role in keeping your skin looking healthy, plump and youthful! If you need that easy-to-use, pick-me-up skincare product to slot in with your current routine and boost your hydration and radiance levels, this is the one.
