I recently did a spot of make-up shopping whilst back in the UK to repurchase a few things I was running low on and shock horror, I purchased a few more additional products from Urban Decay that weren't on my shopping list as I couldn't resist them being the huge Urban Decay fan that I am. I wanted to mention them as I have found all these products to be such good additions to my daily make-up routine and I have loved using them.

The Perfect Matte Bronzer!
If you own Urban Decays Naked Flushed Palette then you shall maybe have the same issue as me where your bronzer always seems to run out first, followed by the highlighter but the blusher hardly ever seems to go down?! I now have three half empty flushed palettes with the blushers still in tact so I wanted to buy the bronzer alone, which Urban Decay don't yet sell individually but the lovely UD assistant that helped me out recommended the closest thing that they do to it which is their finishing powder, just used in a dark shade to use as a bronzer. This is also perfect if you are in search of a good matte bronzer.

This is an oil free/paraben free powder and is seriously silky, weightless and has a luminous, demi-matte finish. It contains optical blurring pigments that help minimise imperfections and create an air brushed look to your skin which looks and feels like you are not wearing any powder at all. It sets your make-up and cuts out shine and using this in a darker shade just enables you to use this as your bronzer - like I have. In the pictures above, I have self tanned my body and this powder enables my face to match without looking fake or orange, just naturally bronzed as I am normally quite fair. It is also available in a loose powder version too if you prefer or if your want to use this as a loose setting powder in a lighter shade.

The packaging of this instantly won me over as the compact sits inside a pretty little material dust bag - so cute! The compact itself is super stylish and has a make-up sponge hidden in the base, perfect for on the go and carrying with you in your handbag for touch ups. I prefer to use a brush seeing as I use this as a bronzer and not as an all over powder. The feel and look of this powder is just incredible and so luxurious, its amazing value for money and is one of the nicest pressed powders that I have used. I can highly recommend this if you are looking for a really good powder or bronzer as there should be a shade to suit all.

Urban Decay B6 Vitamin Spray 30ml here 118ml here
Urban Decay B6 Vitamin Spray 30ml

A Great Prep Spray for Crazy Skin Times & Shine!
B6 is an oil free/paraben free lightweight vitamin spray ideal for all skin types. The spray claims to give your skin a hit of vitamins and helps to calm a multitude of sins like absorbing oil, minimising pores, reducing redness, hydrating and preparing your skin for its next regime.

I am always a bit sceptical about these skin sprays as in the past I have tried a few that have been very sticky and a bit pointless but at the time of buying this my skin was going a bit crazy so what better time for me to try it out. The great thing is it comes in a smaller 30ml travel size aswell as a larger size which is perfect seeing as I had very limited space in my suitcase. They say to use this before any moisturiser and before make-up but I think its up to you how you want to use it as I have tried using it both ways and it seemed to work fine fine. If my skin needs a pick me up during the day then I have a spritz of this all over my face to refresh my skin. The main thing I noticed at first was that this really helps to reduce shine so if you have oily, combination skin or an oily t-zone then this can really help cut down on blotting. Im not sure at this point about all its claims as I need to use it a bit longer but it does provide a really good base for make-up and if it helps a t-zone calm down then it was definitely worth the purchase. I would recommend this if your skin is a little troublesome and you struggle to get your make up to stay in place as I feel this would benefit your skincare regime and help normalise your skin before starting your make-up.

Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Face Primer Potion 28ml here
Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer Potion 28ml

The Perfect Primer for a Perfect Base!
If your still unsure what a primer is or does then check out my blog post here which explains them in more detail but as primers go, this one is high up there on my favourites list.
I hadn't actually used any Urban Decay face primer before so I chose the pore perfecting primer as I do get an oily t-zone so this version shall help to mattify those areas. When applying this primer you instantly feel just how beautiful the velvet texture is which gives your skin a lovely matte finish without being greasy and its not too silicone like either as I am not a fan of more silicone gel primers as I feel they are too slippery on the face.

The thing that I love most about this face primer apart from its amazing feel is the fact that it is slightly tinted so it adapts to your skin tone making your skin instantly look more even before you apply your base. It really holds your make-up in place all day and gives an air brushed finish by helping to smooth and fill in pores, thus stopping your foundation from sitting in those pores making them more visible. I am a big fan of the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion as I have gone through many tubes and its still my favourite and thankfully the face primer has lived up to the same hype as I think this one is fantastic. There is also too a more hydrating version of this for normal/dry skins so I can highly recommend trying out this primer whatever your skin type.

Swatches: Urban Decay Eyeshadow in X

The Perfect Eyeshadow/Highlighter Duo!
X is a stunning shimmery, peachy, golden duo-chrome that although is labelled an eyeshadow, was actually recommended to me as a highlighter - now thats what I like, multi tasking portable products! To replace my Naked Flushed Palette highlighter I went for this one as it looked super pretty and a bonus that I get the benefits of using this stunning shade on my eyes and cheeks.

The powder itself is super soft, blends like a dream and has an insane amount of colour payoff so only a little is needed. I think this is actually my favourite product of all as not only is the packaging again beautiful but as a highlighter on the cheeks and high points, this looks stunningIt reminds me a little of the gold tone from the famous Nars Orgasm blush that just seems to suit everyone. This is different to the Flushed palette highlighter as its much more golden but I actually prefer this warmer tone and it would most definitely suit all skins tones. I would definitely recommend trying this as a highlighter as its a quick fix to getting radiant looking skin in an instant.

You can see me below wearing all the products together on my skin and just see how amazing that highlighter looks when it catches the light!

I just wanted to add, the thing that always attracts me to Urban Decay as a brand is that I find its one where you actually use your products and not let them sit in a drawer collecting dust as not only is the quality of the make-up superb but the products have been so cleverly thought out making applying your make-up a joy, not a task.

Let me know if you try any of these out!
