The Beauty Box subscription trend has been doing the rounds for a few years now and I have reviewed a few on my blog over the past year but I don't know about you but I find myself becoming a little bored of them now and to be honest finding a storage box big enough to house all my unused small samples is becoming a tad insane. They just don't seem to be as exciting as they used to be? But there is that fear of unsubscribing then spying online a great box that you didn't get, I know - but it has to be amazing all of the time to make you stay subscribed, right?

With all this in mind I recently spotted a new contender to beauty boxes, a French company called My Little Box. Living in the South of France myself, this company caught my attention and I was curious to know what they had to offer that was supposedly unlike any other beauty box. I subscribed last month with the intention to cancel after the first box, but I now have two boxes and I can tell you it's très bon.

My Little Box
My Little Box is a Parisian beauty, fashion and lifestyle box thats you subscribe too and is themed differently each month. This very chic French box was created by five friends who created the famous 'My Little Paris Newsletter'. The concept of this box and what makes it different to all other beauty boxes is that it is a 'little box of lifestyle surprises' complete with the most amazing personalised illustrations drawn by their in house illustrator. It is currently available both in France and the UK.

Each month you receive a mix of fashion accessories, beauty products, stationary and other goodies including some collaborations with well known beauty and fashion brands created exclusively for you by My Little Box. The beauty products included are produced in house so you can guarantee you shall have something new to try each month.

I of course have the French version living in the South of France and with the help of a little Google translate, knowing what an item is inside isn't an issue. To be honest I usually throw away the little magazine that comes in beauty boxes but this one I read, even though its all in French it didn't take much translating as the photographs are so beautiful and all very easy to follow. It had some great beauty tips, fashion advice and recipes!

I love this card - Très vrai!

My Little Box
I love the fact that each month it centres around a theme and the attention to detail for that theme is super cute and most definitely very girly. I think thats why I like it so much. Even the little pouches are illustrated with themed drawings each month and they so handy to keep for travelling and storing your jewellery or valuables in. How much nicer is this than the annoying shredded tissue paper that you get in other beauty boxes! oh that stuff annoys me.

My Little Box
I adore the illustration on each box as they look like framed pictures that you would buy if you saw them in a store and how pretty are these to use for storage! The box and its contents feel so clean and luxurious like you are receiving a present every month that has been especially put together and wrapped just for you, not just a bundle of samples that have been thrown together. Receiving your box each month is such an exciting feeling which is what has been missing from all other beauty boxes of late.

Living in the South of France has changed my way of life completely. When you think of the France you automatically think stereotypically of croissants, rosé, stripey tops, sunshine and cute boutiques, well thats what was always in my head anyway. It is indeed very stereotypical and the french way of living is very laid back, very beautiful and of course very chic. This French way of life has all been encapsulated into this Little Box - the chicness, the attention to detail and the general feel is all so very french and I love it.

I think the time and effort spent on creating these boxes by the company is most definitely worth the subscription fee as I beleive it should be about quality not quantity. I didn't expect to like My Little Box so much but it's the attention to detail that has really drawn me in as I am all about the details!

I shall most certainly be staying subscribed for a few more boxes its safe to say as this is certainly the most chic, the most girly and the most personal box trend out there and you really won't feel disappointed.
