There are certain websites that quietly become part of your life without you really noticing. One day you place a small order, then another, and before you know it, you're adding things to your basket at 11pm while convincing yourself that herbal tea, collagen powder and a lip balm absolutely constitute an essential purchase. Hence I have been loving iHerb, which made me wonder if anyone else uses them regularly and what do you buy?

I've used iHerb on and off for years, but over the last year I've found myself shopping there more, because whilst I was living in France, there are certain items only certain websites stock and will ship to you. In fact, it's a little like Amazon, being one of those websites I automatically check before buying supplements, wellness products or even everyday beauty essentials elsewhere. It may not have the glamour of some beauty retailers, but what it does have is an enormous range of useful products at very competitive prices, and that is far more exciting to me these days.

In a world where online shopping can sometimes have you wondering whether you're buying the genuine product or something that has been sitting in a warehouse for years, iHerb takes a very different approach. Everything comes directly from brands and authorised distributors, with no third-party sellers, no mystery stock and no questionable duplicates. As someone who spends a lot of money on supplements and beauty - this matters if I am spending money. Expiration dates are clearly displayed, which is one of those small details that makes a surprisingly big difference when you're buying health and wellness products online.

iHerb beauty and health

Honestly, the sites dangerous. Whether you're looking for skincare, makeup, supplements, sports nutrition, grocery items, herbal teas, pet products, bath and body treats or healthy snacks, chances are you'll find it on iHerb. The website stocks tens of thousands of products from both global household names and smaller niche brands that you simply don't see everywhere else. I usually intend to buy one thing and leave with seven.

A typical order for me might start with a vitamin supplement, then I'll remember I need a new collagen powder, then I'll notice a tea I've been wanting to try. Somehow a lip balm appears in my basket, followed by an eye mask or two. Before long I've built what can only be described as a wellness care package for myself. It's a brilliant place if you are looking to find products that perhaps haven't yet become mainstream in the UK. Of course, good prices don't hurt either.

Below is a little list some of my current favourites and recent purchases (all made by myself, no gifting) that I have bought on repeat, depending on who has the best deal, from beauty essentials and supplements to a few wellness discoveries that have earned a permanent place in my routine.

Ritual Essential for Women Multivitamin (linked here)

Over the last year, I have become a huge fan of Ritual as a brand and they are very up-and-coming in the healthy world right now, basically changing the supplement game as we know it! Their Essential for Women Multivitamin has become a non-negotiable part of my daily routine and is one of the few supplements I've genuinely stuck with long term. I love the transparency of the brand, and the fact that each capsule focuses more on the essentials we really need every day rather than a small amount of a lot of ingredients, as well as the fact they tell you exactly where ingredients are sourced from, and the capsules themselves are surprisingly pleasant to take thanks to their subtle minty flavour. As someone who is always looking for ways to support my overall health, energy levels, hair and skin, this is one supplement I consistently repurchase. In fact, I swear by them so much that I actually subscribed via the brand themselves so I get these delivered every month to make life much easier, plus they do some spectacular sales and I love the way you can customise your delivery if you want to pause or speed up your next delivery! They do however only ship to UK/US/Canada so if you are international then you can get on iHerb, which is how it helped me hugely.

I highly recommend looking at the brand as in my opinion, they produce some of the best supplements. I have tried to date.. plus they have a 35% off summer sale!

COLLAGEN - NeoCell Collagen supplements (linked here).

As somebody in her mid-forties who is always looking for ways to support healthy skin, hair and nails, collagen is one of those wellness categories I continually find myself exploring. They have some great brands and this line was one I really enjoyed and felt it did make a difference. When it comes to collagen, I do find myself changing it up every time as opposed to just sticking to one brand as let's face it, there are many to choose from!

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist (linked here)

I'm always buying a face mist and this is one I recently tried. Whenever my skin feels dry, tight or generally fed up with life, a few sprays of this and everything feels calmer. It's beautifully hydrating, highly affordable and gives skin that comfortable, nourished feeling without leaving behind any heaviness. It's great that they stock Pixi as I know many people love it.

iHerb Beauty Haul

My Growing K-Beauty Obsession ... One area where iHerb truly excels is Korean skincare. If you're looking to dip your toe into K-Beauty without spending hours researching websites and worrying about authenticity, iHerb makes it incredibly easy. K-Beauty products also help you afford to get yourself a really good skincare routine. Biodance is a brand that seems to be absolutely everywhere at the moment with good reason. Their products focus on hydration, skin barrier support and achieving that enviable glass-skin glow that Korean skincare is famous for.

Biodance Gel Toner Pads (linked here)

If you haven't yet fallen down the rabbit hole of Korean toning pads, prepare yourself. The Biodance Toning Pads are brilliant for hydrating and refreshing the skin all in one simple step. They're one of those products that make your skin look better with very little effort, and my favourite are definitely the Collagen and Cera-nol Hydration pads. I alternate them, and you can even replace a few pads on your skin that wants to use as a mask. Highly recommend trying them if you love a toning step like I do!

Purito Wonder Relief Skincare (linked here)

A brand I've spoken about before, and one that's really fantastic as it's a brand that consistently delivers excellent formulas without big price tags. Their products focus heavily on barrier support, hydration and calming ingredients, making them particularly good if your skin is sensitive or prone to becoming irritated. Everything feels straightforward, effective and refreshingly uncomplicated. My favourite products from them have to be their Wonder Relief Serum and the Centella Toning Essence as both are so hydrating, soothing, great to use in the summer to cool your skin and products I will replenish again and again.

SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water Fit Sun Serum SPF50 (linked here)

If there is one category Korean skincare does exceptionally well, it's sunscreen. This specific SPF has become one of my favourite everyday formulas because it feels like a skincare serum-cream rather than traditional sun cream. Lightweight, comfortable and completely invisible on the skin, it gives high protection without any of the heaviness or greasiness that often puts people off daily SPF use. Quite frankly, if all sunscreens felt like this, nobody would skip them.

Skin 1004 Spf, Eucerin Lip balm

And the daily essentials that go without saying  ....

Eucerin Lip Balm (linked here)

This is an example of a product that I didn't really need, yet I end up, putting one in my basket every time because I mean who doesn't need a lip balm in every handbag and every room in the house right and this is a really good every day one. Whenever my lips are dry, cracked or irritated, this sorts them out remarkably quickly and its less than £5. It's not glamorous, it's not trendy, but it works — and that's often far more important.

Nivea Body Lotion (linked here)

Not every beauty favourite needs to cost a small fortune. Sometimes the products we use most are the ones quietly sitting in the bathroom cabinet year after year. I've probably gone through more bottles than I can count as this is just an everyday staple for me  as sometimes simple really is best. Oh and yes, I did this time accidentally purchase the one for 60+ meaning it's really designed for dry skin and uses Argan Oil, but I have to say it was a stroke of genius because it's absolutely fantastic and my skin is loving it; so don't always go by age!

Dove Deodorant (linked here)

A slightly unglamorous inclusion perhaps, but if we're talking everyday essentials then Dove Deodorant deserves a mention. No matter what other Deodorant I may try or use, Dove is one of those products I  always seem to throw into my iHerb basket when placing an order as I will always have it in my bathroom.

Bondi Sands Self Tan (linked here)

When it comes to fake tan, I am a creature of habit. I've tried countless formulas over the years but I always find myself returning to the Bondi Sands Liquid Glow. It gives that believable, healthy glow without venturing into orange territory and the colour fades evenly, which is always the sign of a good tan. If you're nervous about self-tan, this is one of the easiest brands to get right. I often purchase this on Amazon as well. Just depends where I'm shopping at the time.

St. Tropez Purity Range (linked here)

Alongside Bondi Sands, the St. Tropez Purity range has become an everyday staple for my face as I am sure you may know by now. I love how fuss-free the products are. Just gradual, natural-looking colour that develops beautifully and keeps skin looking healthy year-round.

Twinings Butter Mint Tea (linked here)

This could be the star of the show because iHerb is the only place I could find this tea, as I really wanted to try it when I was living in France! Just think of a peppermint tea with a vanilla, creamy aftertaste - like a drinking a Murray Mint or Mint Humbug - it's just divine and is regularly stocked in my kitchen cupboard because I have to drink it every evening after dinner because it's become my ritual!

Of course, no iHerb order would be complete without me adding a few products to my basket that I've absolutely no need for but am convinced will somehow transform my life. At the moment, there are several brands that have really caught my eye. Lemme, Kourtney Kardashian's supplement line, is one I'm particularly curious about, especial the Glow and Sleep Gummies as I have heard such good things. Undeniably pretty, and as someone who is permanently tempted by a supplement promising to improve something, I'm intrigued! I have also heard very good things about Natural Vitality, home of the hugely popular Calm magnesium range, particularly when it comes to supporting sleep, stress levels and overall wellbeing, so this is definitely a brand I may need to add to cart next time.

You'll also usually find a few snacks and American sweet treats sneaking into my basket too. There's something about seeing products that aren't always easy to find in the UK or Europe that makes them instantly irresistible, even when I logged on with the best intentions of only buying vitamins.

Just don't blame me if you pop on to buy one thing and leave with a basket full of vitamins, skincare, herbal tea and at least three products you never knew you needed until five minutes ago.
