Tis' the season to ..... get your Mintd Box quite frankly. If you are a regular reader to my blog and to my monthly Mintd Box unveilings then you shall know that it was inevitable that this month was going to have a Christmas theme and oh what a theme it is. In my opinion, one of the best we have seen so far and I know I say that month after month, but to put  so many amazing products together that shall please an array of beauty lovers every month takes skill and passion which deserves a big round of applause in my book. Cheryl and her team at Mintd Box never disappoint us unlike other beauty boxes as they have introduced me to some amazing brands that have now become a firm favourite to my beauty regime and ones that I don't think I genuinely would have tried had it not been for Mintd Box.

This months box screams luxury, pampering, party prep, christmas gift idea and the perfect 'to me, from me' gift of course. If you are not familiar with the concept of Mintd Box then please check out my last two unboxings which shall explain it all here and here

Siskyn Frankincense and Jasmine Night Face Oil
1. Siskyn Frankincense and Jasmine Night Face Oil (Full Size £58) link!
An intensive overnight skin boosting treatment oil with a blend of 17 organic, highly active, botanical oils. Blended with vitamin rich organic rosehip known for its antioxidant properties to help combat free radical damage and increase collagen production as well as soothing and calming with Calendula and Baobab for skin maintenance. This is a great nourishing night oil ideal for all skin types especially beneficial for balancing acne prone skin.

I first became acquainted with Siskyn from the Essential Beauty Sleep Edition Mintd Box which introduced me their hot cloth cleansing oil and that was all it took to get me hooked.  I raved about that product as it really is a stunning cleansing oil and Siskyn is definitely a brand that I encourage you to look into. Firstly, this face oil has a very subtle scent to it so definitely not too overpowering although I am a big fan of Frankincense and Jasmine scents hence I knew I would love this one. This oil feels like heaven on the skin, not greasy, not heavy or sticky but just right. Just be careful not to over use of course. A super comforting treat for your skin at this time of year if you are going through a cold spell as we are here in the South of France. After having used this only a few times, my skin looks so much brighter and softer because those are the benefits of using a good face oil. Oils really do give you far more benefits as opposed to creams as they can penetrate deeper into the skin and do more work. I really can see the benefits of this to all other skins types too as it ticks so many boxes of what we all want from a skincare product. If you are wary of face oils and have always avoided them, then I would recommend starting here as trust me, this shall change your mind.

Anne Semonin Cream Face Mask
Anne Semonin Cream Face Mask
2. Anne Semonin Cream Face Mask (Full Size £42) link!
A rich, velvety cream mask designed to give immediate relief to sensitive skin and all skin types especially dry and flaky skin. Containing Corn, Sunflower, Soybean to nourish, Shea Butter, Jojoba, Mimosa to firm and mineral ingredients such as Sea Water, Brown Seaweed, Marsh Samphire, Chlorella to soothe and energise and all paraben free. Used regularly this mask is designed to help protect against visible signs of ageing.

This was the first item from the box that I grabbed and used almost immediately. Having done a lot of flying this month, my skin was in need of some calm and this literally created one of those 'awwwwww' moments as this is what you call 'comfort in a jar'. It smells to me just like baby powder and that scent automatically makes you think soothing and calming and this is just indeed what this mask does. It feels heavenly on the skin like being wrapped up in a cosy blanket and the perfect mask for when you need to destress your skin. I have become a big fan of the Anne Semonin skincare line as my skin seems to love all that I have tried so far, especially the masks as their Exfoliating mask is another top love of mine. Environmental stresses, health stresses and just general stresses causes our skin to change all the time so it is important to address it's need and masking is the perfect way to do so hence a pamper session is always a must!

Anne Semonin Mask Brush

3. Anne Semonin Mask Brush (Full Size £20) link!
A special applicator for applying all of your face masks which makes mixing and applying them much easier and more convenient.

I literally jumped for joy when I saw this in the box as no word of a lie, I had misplaced my mask brush a few weeks prior so it was on my shopping list to get a new one so I think Cheryl really read my mind here! Coming from a Facialist background where I would always apply my clients masks with a brush, I still to this day find them an essential to my own routine. Brushes apply a product so much more evenly with less mess and minimise the amount of product that you waste because lets face it, when products are as luxe as these, you want every last bit on your face not in the sink. I have to say this is the 'poshest' mask brush I have ever owned and is indeed every bit as beautiful as it's skincare products.

IOMA Fresh Gel Eye Makeup Remover

4. IOMA Fresh Gel Eye Makeup Remover (Full Size at £20) link!
A refreshing liquid, gel eye makeup remover that dissolves eye makeup and also improves the length of your lashes! It is fragrance free and without parabens or silicone.

I am so fussy when it comes to eye make-up removers as I have used my beloved Bioderma for years now as living in France, it is very accessible, well priced and always has a good offer in the French Pharmacies' here. As soon as I read that this IOMA one 'helped with lash growth' I was sold. I am such a sucker for anything lash lengthening as we all want them longer lets face it so if its states it, I will try it. Now being used to a water eye makeup remover, I hate thick gels but this gel is in fact very fluid and a lovely texture and I really like it. The best thing about it is that it feels so cooling and soothing and makes my eyes look very rested fresh feeling. I can't speak for the lash growth as I haven't used it long enough to tell but being a fellow french brand, I have high hopes that I shall do.

Wildheart Organics Sanctuary Jasmine/Chamomile/Rosewood Candle
5. Wildheart Organics Sanctuary Jasmine/Chamomile/Rosewood Candle (£12) link!
A luxurious Aromatherapy soy candle comprising of 21 pure essential oils all selected for their calming and de-stressing properties. The heart of this candle being Jasmine, Chamomile, Geranium with calming Rosewood and Patchouli.

I fell in love with Wildheart after having one of their candles in the Essential Beauty Sleep Edition Mintd Box and if I was a candle, then this one would be it. All of these notes are my ideal as for me, they are the most tranquil and ones that give me a calmer mind. I am also a big aromatherapy lover and candles are one of my most favourite things in the world to feel relaxed. I have candles a light every single day and night at home regardless of the season, I just love the feeling that they give you. If only that day arrived where smell-o-vision existed because trust me, these are absolutely stunning. My favourite all time brand of candle is NEOM as they are very special to me, being my wedding candles and Wildheart remind me very much of them. If you are into your aromatherapy candles then you have to try these out as they are truly some of the best out there.

6. Ellis Faas Milky Lips, L202 Dark Blood (Full Size £23) link!
A long wear fluid lipstick that gives very high pigment with a glossy finish that lasts. Comforting, hydrating and pluming to your lips and good for those who do not like to feel lipstick own their lips. No scent, no parsons and no animal testing (hurrah!).

I have seen the brand Ellis Faas in many beauty editorials but have never had the chance to try as I have never seen the brand in real life to be able to have a play with. When I saw this in the box, I did indeed get very excited. We have to firstly address the packaging ... is it a designer pen or a lipstick? It is simply WOW! The opitamy of luxury I would say. It works like a concealer click pen and is wound up at the end to release the contents up to it's brush applicator. This illiminates the need for a separate lip brush and applies the colour very precisely and evenly to your lips which I really like. At first glance the colour did raise an eyebrow as I thought "wow, thats intense' and having the name Dark Blood, I think sums the shade up perfectly as it really is just that. You can indeed wear this as a stain or layer it up to get a real intense colour due to it's lovely light textured pigmented. Ellis Saab state that this is a 'human colour' and therefore suitable for each skin tone, age and style. I like that.
