Sephora 'Express Drying Nail Oil'

If like me you are very impatient when it comes to letting your nails dry then you shall love this product! I always end up smudging my nails as straight after I paint them I have to do stuff! Sometimes they can feel touch dry but if they have not set fully then you have to red-do them all over again! (argghh) I hate smudged nails. Especially in the heat we have had here in Monaco, my nails seem to take forever to dry.
Whilst on a recent shopping trip to Sephora (again) I noticed a few new nail products from Sephora own brand. I am a big fan of Sephora own brand products as I have not been disappointed yet with anything I have purchased from them. I blogged about the incredible Sephora Express Nail Polish Remover here! The new Express Drying Oil really interested me as I was looking at the OPI version of this as you know I am a huge OPI fan, but the Sephora one was a third of the price! So I thought why not try it out!

Sephora Express Drying Oil for nails, 7ml, €8.50

What does this do?
  • A drying oil Express 2 in 1
  • Dries polish in 1 minute!
  • A high gloss varnish
  • Smoothes instantly nails
  • Nourishes cuticles

How to Use -
Apply your nail polish in the usual way, applying a base coat, your chosen nail colour, followed by your top coat. Immediately after applying your top coat take the dropper and hold downwards over the nail. Point your nails downwards facing you. Drop 1-2 drops of oil across the nail plate and you shall see the oil completely stick to the nail plate and not drip or run. It shall leave an immediate high shine gloss that is instantly dry to touch!

Nail painted with base coat, 2 x coats of my favourite polish of the month, Dior Saint Tropez, 2 x coats top coat
(not a great deal of shine)

Below: Nail after Express Drying Oil (high shine!)
This does leave an oil residue down the sides of the nail and on the finger tip, helping to nourish the surrounding skin. So just be aware that you may want to remove with a wipe or tissue or just let it soak into the skin as a nail treatment. This is what I did and takes no time at all to sink in, leaving your nails looking healthy and hydrated.

I was SO impressed with this! Worth every penny giving OPI a rival.

It really does dry in 1 minute and leaves a beautiful shine to the nails. This way you don't necessarily need to use a high shine top coat as the express dry oil product does that for you. I cant say how long lasting the shine shall be as it also depends on what you are doing with your nails, but it does make your nails look like you have had them professionally manicured. The nails feel and look smoother, aswell as your cuticles looking hydrated and well nourished. Its so easy to use and most of all saves you time and not having to wait ages for your nails to dry!

  • Priced at only €8.50, you can purchase this from any Sephora store or online here
